The Hannover Index
The Hannover Index defines and measures employee engagement around ethical and environment issues. It enables an organisation to measure the two fundamental dimensions of engagement: intellectual clarity and emotional connection.
Clarity focuses on what the individual knows or understands about the organisation’s environmental agenda and what it means for them whilst connection looks at how the individual reacts to this knowledge and makes them feel about the organisation.
The Hannover Consultancy partners with Ibis Communication which developed the methodology and has used it successfully among many major corporations as a way of measuring engagement with their employees.
