The consultancy was established in 2007 by Beck Dawson, Matthew Pudney and Michael Saxton, with backgrounds in science, sustainability and consultancy.

Today, we employ and partner with practitioners specialising in building design services; corporate and marketing communications; corporate and social responsibility; interactive media; internal engagement; risk engineering consultancy; and a range of technical sustainability services that include cost-effective solutions to tackle carbon, energy, transport, packaging and materials use through design and operations.

We provide technical guidance to the agencies in the design industry, particularly packaging and retail design agencies. Our work includes helping designers in specifying and using sustainable materials. We act as a technical resource between the design studio and the client. We also are involved in selecting design agencies with sustainable credentials for projects.

The Hannover Consultancy is inspired by the Hannover Principles, an operating framework for a sustainable human-made environment.   We are as passionate about what we do as we are expert in our specialist practice areas.
